During MILAN DESIGN WEEK 2021, Paraná Studio presented La Porta Magica, in collaboration with Jan Kath, showing at Alberto Levi Gallery, located in the historical center of Milan.

Jan Kath is considered to be among the most talented designers in the contemporary rug milieu. One of his first clients was Alberto Levi, a world specialist on antique oriental rugs and innovative gallery owner. Believing in Paraná's vision, Alberto connected both worlds under his roof.

A first edition at Fuorisalone for the Paraná Studio, the set up was imagined to bring back to life the legend of the Alchemic Door, situate in Villa Palombara in Rome, back in 1680.

The story-telling was given by the innovative Totem Lanterns  designed by Paraná Studio and a selection of three different collections of rugs by Jan Kath: Common Threads, Heiter Bis Wolkig and Gorski.

The set-up was kept in gallery beyond Salone del Mobile.
